What kind of soil and drainage do Celosia Plants prefer?

Celosia Plant can be planted in well drained but not wet soil. The pH is neutral to slightly acidic (approximately 6.0-6.5) and organic matter is added to be able to grow well. Excesses of moisture and thick soils are a threat of root rot or fungal problems.
