Tesla's Website Lockdown: Are they Hiding Something, or Just Paranoid?

So, I tried to check out the latest from Tesla via their RSS feed, and bam, hit a wall. PerimeterX, website security, human verification required. This has me wondering, what's really going on behind the scenes? Is this level of security necessary, or is Tesla overreacting? Could it be a sign of something bigger brewing, perhaps an imminent announcement they're trying to keep under wraps? Or maybe they are experiencing an unprecedented surge in traffic due to some unannounced news?

I've never encountered this level of lockdown before on their site. It feels almost like they're in fortress mode. What are your thoughts? Has anyone else experienced this? Is this standard practice now, and I'm just out of the loop? Or is this something new?

Perhaps this extreme security measure is a precursor to a major reveal, something game-changing they want to control the release of. Maybe a new model, a revolutionary battery technology, or a completely unexpected partnership?

What do you predict this all means? Let's speculate!
